Review
This film had really good special effects that only a Marvel film can fulfill. I do like how Scott Lang showed off his powers more. The main thing that really carried this film was the villain Kang the Conqueror who is portrayed by Jonathan Majors. I think that his evolution as the main villain is starting and I know that he would be a good villain for the rest of the MCU films.
Unfortunately, other than that, I think that I would have to agree with the Rotten Tomatoes score of this film. I think that the Marvel films are starting to feel more like filler movies instead of movies that have meaning to the overall plot. While there were funny moments in this film, O prefer the level of humor that the previous Ant-Man films had. In my opinion, there were some scenes in this film that could have been cut because the film felt longer than it needed to be. The action was great but repetitive and there was really nothing surprising and new. Also, the chemistry between Scott and Cassie was off and I don't know if it's because they changed Cassie's actress a lot, but it felt off.
Rating/ Recommend
I rate this film 2/5 stars. I wouldn't recommend seeing this film in theaters but rather wait until it comes on Disney+
