Rating
I rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. This was once again a book I got from Bookoff in New York and I am so glad that I picked it up. As soon as I picked it up to read it, I could not put it back down. I went over my bedtime to finish reading this book Not only did Brianna and Maddy hide secrets but their mothers did as well. The complexity of Juliet and Chloe's familial relationships adds an extra layer of mystery. As the book goes on the story unfolds and the ending leaves you shocked. K.L Slater really throws you for a good loop and makes you really feel the emotions of the characters. I was getting frustrated, annoyed, yet very sympathetic as I was reading this thriller. This book is good and what I look for in a thriller novel. The mysteriousness of the setting makes this book gripping and the interactions between the limited characters make you feel like you are right there with him.
