Review
I loved this movie, I am actually shocked about the rotten tomatoes score. The acting was good and the plot of the film was well thought of. More importantly, the themes that the film presented were very interesting and need to be brought up. The representation of women with mental illnesses was the main plot of this film. The many different mental illnesses that were shown in this film were accounted for without putting too much emphasis on the characters. That shows that research has been done and observations were made while making this film. Mental illness is a hard thing to illustrate because if you do it too exaggerated then it seems like you are making fun of it. However, with this film, I never got that feeling. All the actresses played their roles well and the emotion of the film helped bring that out. Alos, the themes of isolation in this film were prevalent. The women were in an isolated institution with bars on the windows. How can anyone get better in those conditions? It was like they were prisoners and I am glad that the film brought light to that. I really don't have any critics for this film.
Rating
I rate this film 5 out of 5 stars and I would recommend this film. Alos, if yo do watch this film there are some scenes that can be triggering.
