Review
I absolutely LOVED this movie! I honestly don't even know how this isn't a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I am noy shocked that I loved this sequel because the first one is top three of my favorite animated films. The action sequences was amazing. The animators did a impressive job. It almost didn't even feel like a animated film because of the style. To create a world and build this place where people can dive into is, in my opinion, one of the most important things for a film to do. I was completely transcended into this world almost immediately. One main thing that was really great to see is the diversity. Stan Lee said himself that 'anyone can be Spiderman', therefore, the dream have some to life. The different cultures of the Spider People was well thought out. You can tell that the filmmakers did their research in order to properly represent everyone.
The plot was stunning. I liked how even though there was action, Miles and Gwen had moments where they had to figure themselves out. This felt like a coming-of age film and it really shows how being Spider People at such a young age is affecting their familial lives. Gwen's backstory is also expanded on more in this film and it shws who she is. Overall, I LOVED everything about this film and I have absolutely no critics about the film.
